Ballet Theatre UK prides itself on mounting new productions. Showcasing its talents throughout the company from the design team, making fantastic sets and new costumes, to its Artistic Director, choreographing brand new choreography loved by audiences throughout the country on its seasonal tours.
For each performance it can take over eight months to put together, from the initial concept ideas, to the final production read to to go out on tour. With over 80 costumes and headdresses needed for each performance alone proves its by no means an easy challenge, but Ballet Theatre UK prides its self on rising to the task in hand, to bring you new exciting productions.
This season we are touring a new production of 'The Snow Queen', and to give you and insight to how it has been created here are some images of everything from costumes part way through the making stages, backdrops in the paint studio to warm up classes whist out on tour.
