| The Company Dancers
 Natalie began her dance training at the Ker-Mel school of dance in Gosport, Hampshire and became a Royal Ballet Mid and senior associate from 2000 until 2004. Natalie performed in 'Coppellia' with the English Youth Ballet, where she danced the Dawn Solo. In 2004 she studied at the Central School of Ballet, performing at the Phillip Lawrence Awards and with Ballet Central on their 2007 UK tour. Since graduating from the Central School of Ballet with a 1st class BA honours degree, she joined the Scottish Ballet dancing in Ashley Page's 'The Sleeping Beauty' and has appeared in the BBC period drama 'Tess of the D'Urbervilles', as well as performing with the American Ballet Theatre in 'Le Corsaire’. Natalie joined Ballet Theatre UK for their 2009 UK tour of the Nutcracker and has most recently performed with the English National Ballet in Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall.
Amy Coughlan Amy was born in Chichester, West Sussex and started dancing at the young age of 4, then later moved to East Sussex where she went on to study at the Legat School of Dance. In 2006 Amy began her professional training at Central School of Ballet graduating in 2009 with a BA (Hons) in Professional Dance and Performance. During this time Amy toured with Ballet Central the graduate company of Central School of Ballet, performing works such as Frederick Ashton’s Façade; working along Margaret Barbieri and Alexander Grant. Amy is very much looking forward to starting her professional dance career with Ballet Theatre UK. Narissa Course
Narissa started her ballet training when she was 4 years old at a local ballet school. She became a Junior Associate of The Royal Ballet before being accepted into the Royal Ballet Lower School at 11 and Elmhurst School for Dance at 16. She completed her training at The Central School of Ballet, performing principal roles with their touring company Ballet Central and graduating with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Performance in 2008. She then went on to dance with European Ballet and has also appeared in The Phantom of the Opera in Denmark and West Side Story in the UK. Some of her favourite roles she has performed include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the Blue Bird Pas de Deux from The Sleeping Beauty. Her career highlights are appearing with The Royal Ballet at Covent Garden in The Nutcracker and Swan Lake and performing with Ballet Central, the Arabian Dance and the principal role in Ashley Page’s Waltz of the Flowers (The Nutcracker) and the Neapolitan Pas de Deux (Swan Lake). Narissa is delighted to be working with Ballet Theatre UK.
Jenny Nixon
Jenny began her training first in Glasgow with Maureen Christie, then at the Dance School of Scotland before moving to London to train at English National Ballet School, and finally spending a year with graduate company Ballet Central. Jenny really enjoys living in London and loves going to the theatre as often as possible. Recently performed along side the English National Ballet in Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall and is very happy to now be working with Ballet Theatre UK as she loves to work with different choreographers and enjoy seeing more of Britain. Kazuka Oike (via Tring Park School)
Kazuka was born in Koyoto, Japan, and started dancing at the age of 4. At 14 she moved to England to continue her training at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts (formerly Arts Educational School, Tring Park). During which time Kazuka has performed principal roles both locally and nationally. Kazuka has been recognized both in classical and contemporary studies, she has appeared in Robert Cohan's re-creation of his landmark piece 'Class' which was used for documentary purposes. Kazuka has regularly appeared in performances with the National Youth Ballet in a variety of roles, including soloist and principal, some of which have been showcased at Sadler's Wells and Birmingham Hippodrome. Kazuka is delighted to be touring again with Ballet Theatre UK and looks forward to creating her roles in this seasons new production of Cinderella. Megan Wood Born in England, Megan grew up in the beautiful town of Chichester. She began her training with The Teresita Marsden School of Dance and then in 2005 furthered her training with the Central School of Ballet, London. Megan graduated with a BA (Hons) in Professional Dance and Performance in 2008. Megan toured the UK with Ballet Central performing Princess Florine - Blue Bird Pas de Deux, The Neopolitan - Swan Lake, Christopher Hampson's Capriole Suite, Ashley Page's Waltz of the Flowers. In 2009 Megan joined Ballet de L'Opera National Du Rhin in France performing in La Sylphide during the company's Alsace regional tour. In 2010 she rejoined the company and performed in Maina Gielgud's Giselle. Megan joined Ballet Theatre UK in 2009 and performed the role of Clara amongst other minor roles in The Nutcracker. Jack Allen
Jack was born in Southampton where he started dancing and later went on to become a Royal Ballet Junior and Mid associate. He Trained at Tring park school for the performing arts (formerly known as the Arts Educational School, Tring) for 7 years before accepting his first contract to tour Australia with English National Ballet. He has also had the opportunity to dance with the National Youth Ballet and perform many principal roles. He has also Performed the Male solo in Robert Cohan’s landmark piece ‘Class’ for documentary purposes, Performed the ‘Drummer Boy’ variation in ‘Graduation Ball’ at the Gothenburg Opera House and Danced Richard Alston’s ‘Beyond Measure’ in a mixed bill in London. Edward Fallon
Edward begin his training under Eve Leveaux at the Derby Academy of Dance. In 2003 he received a scholarship to Central School of Ballet. Upon Graduation Edward Joined Independent Ballet Wales, where he spent two seasons touring around the UK. In 2008 he began working with English National Ballet, performing in the Angelina Ballerina ballets across the UK, Australia and the U.A.E. Most recently Edward has performed in English National Opera's 'Faust' at the London Coliseum. Edward is very excited to be joining Ballet Theatre UK, and is looking forward to his first season with the company. Christopher James
Chris began ballet training aged 4, and was put forward to be a Junior Associate with The Royal Ballet at 8. Following three years full of performances with The Royal Ballet at Covent Garden, Chris successfully auditioned for The Royal Ballet Lower School, and trained there for 5 years. At 16 he successfully auditioned for Central School Of Ballet, with his 3 years training culminating in many performances during the Ballet Central tour. Chris took on his first professional engagement as part of Independent Ballet Wales, and worked with the company for several years, taking several lead roles. Chris is now looking forward to new opportunities in the world of dance, and is excited to be working with Ballet Theatre UK. Andrea Santato Andrea was born in Padova, Italy. He graduated at London Contemporary Dance School in 2007. Since then he first joined Michael Clark Company for the “Stravinsky Project” and the “Stravinsky Project Tour”. Then he worked with Swansea Ballet Russe (dancing roles such as the prince in “The Nutcracker” and soloist parts in “Coppelia” and “Swan Lake”), Cork City Ballet (for “The Nutcracker” production in 2009), Chrysalis Dance Company (for the “Ways You Wonder” production in 2009 and “Connect 4” in 2010) and with the artist Michael Creed performing “Ballet: work n. 1020”. Andrea joined Ballet Theatre UK for the upcoming productions of “Cinderella” and “The Nutcracker”. Jessica Hill - Apprentice Dancer
Jessica started training at the age of 3 at the Jeanine Greville dance academy and was a Royal Ballet Junior and Mid Associate which gave her the opportunity to perform as a page girl in Royal Ballet’s Cinderella in 2005. She then joined Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in 2005 and whilst training at Tring worked with English National Ballet as a child in their performances of Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, and Swan Lake. Jessic regularly appeared in performances with the National Youth Ballet in a variety of roles and has had the opportunity to perform at events like Move it 2010 and Sounds Move at the Southbank centre. Jessica is very excited to be working with Ballet Theatre UK. Jesse Mulligan - Apprentice Dancer
Jesse was born in Bristol and has been dancing ever since he was a young child. At the age of 13 Jesse gained a place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts (formerly known as The Arts Educational School, Tring Park) Whilst at Tring, he was given many performance opportunities including dancing at the Gothenburg Opera House with the Swedish Ballet school, performing with St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre in their production of "La Bayadere" and working with Richard Alston in restaging "Beyond Measure" for a mixed bill in London. He was also a member of the National Youth Ballet for their 2009 season. Jesse is delighted to be working with Ballet Theatre UK. | |
