Ballet Theatre UK is a new and inventive classical dance company, with a bold and unique approach to creating new theatre productions and raising the awareness of dance.

We engage our audiences with a passion and energy that is truly inspiring, and are pleased to be invited back to theatres by popular demand each season.

Ballet Theatre UK was founded by Artistic Director, Christopher Moore, and has fast become one of the UK's best-loved mid-scale ballet companies.

We take inspiration from an eclectic mix of classical dance, theatre, popular culture and literature to develop new and original productions or to create a new interpretation of popular classical ballets.

We believe in the importance of creating new full-length ballets which appeal to a wide range of people from all walks of life. We constantly seek out new audiences and regularly tour throughout the UK and overseas, bringing British classical ballet to a wider audience.

The company also works closely with a variety of local dance schools and vocational colleges to provide an extensive workshop programme, these workshops provide a valuable insight for students into the workings of a professional dance company, and to develop a greater understanding of classical dance as a whole
